Why snow & water globes and not other corporate and wedding gifts?
The water in the cool glass globe brings a touch of elegance and magic to everything within. The floaters within add to the ambience within the globe.
People say music are words of the heart, they let us reminisce and recall. Add the musical element and the gift is yet again special.
Are snow globes for Christmas only?
Snow globes are especially special during Christmas. The world remembers the snow flakes in the globes and there are some collectors in the world that only collect Christmas Snow globes. And during such a time, advertisers and event planners create more of such promotional snow globes.
During Christmas every year, corporate companies design a special snow globe for their customers. And as the year passes by, these become collectibles.
However, at A World Within, we wish for everyday to be like Christmas. Instead of placing snow in the globes, we use glitter and specially shaped confetti within the water globes to mark the special occasions of life.
Procedures & Timeline:
1. Options
a. Sizes of Glass Snow Globe; include pricing. 45mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm and 150mm.
i. 45mm: Small mini globes. Very ideal for weddings and Christmas events. Adorable and pocket sized. No music mechanism
ii. 60mm: Ideal for more detailed designs. Buildings models can be hand sculptured in detail from this size onwards.
iii. 80mm: The base can be designed with more 3D effects as there is a lot more space for creativity.
iv. 100mm: The most popular size of snow globes available. Ideal for the musical mechanisms and other special features like lights and rotation.
v. 150mm: Ideal for wedding display snow globes and customized snow globes with elaborate details.
b. Musical
i. The musical tune is subjected to the availability of the particular tune.
c. Additional Features
i. Rotational features can be added to enhance the sculpture in the snow globe.
ii. Lights can be added, subjected to manufacturing feasibility
d. Minimum quantity of 500 pieces
2. Procedures
From conceptualizing the designs of your very own snow globe to the production of the final piece takes approximately 90 days. If the designs are complex, it will take longer than usual.

d. Lead time: 90 days. If you have your own designs, the lead time will be shorter.

I am looking for a mini (45mm) snow globe for a sweet 16. Do you have anything like this in stock, and what would be the price of 65? Also looking for a simular 100 or 150 globe for the tables, approx 16 of the large globes. The event is the end on November 2008.

Its also a little rush for custom made ones, we work with our clients at least 3-4 months in advance for special designs due to the shipping lead time and design lead time. Do let us know how else we can help?

I am looking to design a personal snow globe. I have been looking since March and hope you can help me. I know your lead time is months, but perhaps we can make it work. I need about 75-100 of one that is 5-6 inches tall. I am looking for a manager scene and above the clouds Jesus on the cross. I have a picture to send as I would like it if we can work this out. I was looking for a Castle Snow globe can you make one. It is for a guy who likes the Cadtles in Spain. So I need it to be not Fairy Taleish and not so midevil with Dragons and stuff. More like Spanish Castles…. Is that possible? Please get back to me. I have looked everywhere.
